You nailed it man. I bought this album when it first came out. One of the best bass albums of all time. I was fortunate to meet Chris when he came to Htfd, CT on their Drama tour back in the 1980’s. I told him Fish Out of Water was one of my favorite albums of all time.
I’ve only recently over the last few years fell in love with this album, i’m having great fun playing along to Lucky seven on the drums and just came across your Youtube video. I can’t find any drum notation for this, so watching you play helps me improv with it. Many Thanks John
Hello John! Thank you very much for your comments! Hope you’re still enjoying the video! I also didn’t have notation for this. The notes were taken by ear. Happy bass playing!
Thanks for the reply, I’ve found the drum music now, so cracking on playing along! Watched a lot more of your video.s great work, you are a great player sir!
John
Thanks Miguel! Because of you keeping Chris’s music alive, it makes his passing a bit easier.
Thanks for that Miguel – ‘Keep the Faith’
