This is the 3rd edit of my recordings at the Koprivshtitsa festival of Bulgarian Folklore Art.
Besides vocal and instrumental ensembles with traditional dances and costumes, another genre of performance typical of the Bulgarian folklore is humour. What today would be called of “stand-up comedy” is, in fact, part of the authentic Bulgarian traditions. Although I am not able to understand enough of Bulgarian, I have recorded some of the humoresque performances.
